Playing on the word "STASIS"
I like the word you suggested 'stasis' meaning.. "a period or state of inactivity or equilibrium" This describes what i have been looking at quite well so far.. but also describes a period of activity (in this example decay)

Interesting distinction between "static" and "stasis"...
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree that stasis can be a kind of dynamic stability, and is perhaps best regarded that way even when there doesn't seem to be much going on!
